Homeland has long had an association with the amazing team at Kai Ika, who utilise and distribute fish heads, frames and offal, previously going to waste, to appreciative families and community groups all over Auckland through Papatūānuku Kōkiri Marae.
You’ll share a whole fish between two and Peter Gordon will teach you to make a delicious fish head soup, spice-roasted ‘wings’, and coconut-curried whole fish.
We can accommodate some allergies but please email us at cookingschool@homelandnz.com to check about yours before booking. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring containers from home in case of leftovers.
For this class, our benches take four people, so come as a group or make some new friends on the night.
Price: $225 per person (Includes $50 donation to The Kai Ika Project)
