The Chatham Islands come to Homeland!

This month the Chatham Islands come to Homeland for a one-night-only five-course tasting dinner by Peter Gordon and Naga Sunkara, celebrating The Chatham Island Food Company

Homeland presents precious kaimoana from the distant pristine waters of Wharekauri and Rekohu, known as the Chatham Islands.

The islands’ thriving marine eco-system – 800km east of Āotearoa – provides the famed Chatham Blue cod an amazing diet, and they taste like no other. Chef Peter and Chef Naga will also serve crayfish, pāua and kina.

Five exceptional courses will include hāngi pork from master Rewi Spraggon and conclude with a dessert showcasing remarkable Chatham Island freeze dried honey.

Special guests include Gigi & Delwyn Tuanui, founders of the Chatham Island Food company – sharing their extraordinary story of sustainability and future prosperity in an over-fished world.

Date  23 June
Time  7pm sharp
Cost  $185.00 per person (dinner) – ticket includes a glass of bubbles on arrival and recommended wine matches can be purchased from the Homeland Bar
