Peter will teach you a lunch dish that he feels is symbolic of our nation’s evolving cuisine from the last 800 years. A one pot dish of hāngi pork, clams, kūmara, kārengo seaweed, Pacific coconut cream, kawakawa and Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. You’ll also make horopito fry bread and help it along with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc or beer.
Our benches take six people, so come as a group or meet some new people on the day. If you have any allergies or dietaries contact Natalie on cookingschool@homelandnz.com to see if we can accommodate them.
