SOLD OUT An evening with Nici Wickes

Nici Wickes needs no introduction – she’s graced our screens and the pages of well-known magazines with her delicious recipes and restaurant reviews for many years.

We are very excited to have her at Homeland teaching a class inspired by her book ‘A Quiet Kitchen’.

In 2020 with the world gripped by a global pandemic and suddenly finding herself out of a job, she began creating daily Instagram cooking videos from her kitchen. These – often hilarious – unrehearsed clips were a great source of comfort to many, and the book is an extension of those, with Nici sharing not only her recipes but her personal story of living alone, happily, in a small rural community with all life’s joys and challenges.

If you’ve ever heard Nici speak anywhere you’ll know this will be an evening of heartfelt stories, great kai and guaranteed hilarity.

We can accommodate some allergies (depending on the class) but please email us at to check about yours well in advance.
Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring containers from home in case of leftovers.

Our benches take six people so come as a group or meet some new people on the day.
