Carmel – Israeli Street Food was established in 2017 by Kiwi-born Carmel Davidovitch. After growing up in Israel, she returned to New Zealand with Tomer, her partner, and together they embarked on a mission to introduce Kiwis to real Israeli street food. Their cloud-like pita bread has a cult following and often causes queues at their Auckland store.
