Sam’s culinary journey commenced in the bustling culinary scene of London, where he honed his craft under the mentorship of the esteemed Michel Roux Jr at the illustrious Le Gavroche. Fuelled by his passion, he ventured to New Zealand, where he currently presides over The Kosher Deli in Auckland and proudly runs the amazing Sam’s Bagels.

Nurtured within a vibrant Jewish heritage, Sam’s upbringing ingrained in him the vital role of food in every joyous celebration. Join us for this exceptional class, where you will delve
into the secrets of crafting authentic Jewish classics, as Sam shares his wealth of knowledge, expertise and stories.

Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring containers from home in case of leftovers. Our benches take six people so come as a group or meet some new people on the day.

Due to ingredient, preparation and labour costs incurred in advance of the class, cancellation of attendance must be made a minimum of four days prior to the booking or payment becomes non-refundable. If you need cancel then please try to get your friends to take your place.

No-shows or last minute cancellations are not refunded.

Should the class chef be unavailable to conduct their cooking class due to personal reasons or illness, all attendees for that class will be notified at the time. The class may still go ahead, where applicable, with one of Homeland's team stepping in to take the lesson.
