Because you asked…. it’s back for one last time this year.

Homeland’s Turkish Eggs are legendary, and this is your chance to learn to make them.

Peter first fell in love with this dish (known as çilbir) in 1999 on the first of 50-plus visits to Turkey. It’s a dish that graced the menu of his restaurant, The Providores, in London every day of its 18 years – they sold tens of thousands of them.

And now they are here, at Homeland – giving so many New Zealanders a nostalgic taste of their time in London – and delighting those who have only just discovered them.

We can accommodate some allergies and dietaries (depending on the class) but please email us at cookingschool@homelandnz.com to check about yours well in advance.

Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring containers from home in case of leftovers. Our benches take six people so come as a group or meet some new people on the day.

Due to ingredient, preparation and labour costs incurred in advance of the class, cancellation of attendance must be made a minimum of four days prior to the booking or payment becomes non-refundable. If you need cancel then please try to get your friends to take your place.

No-shows or last minute cancellations are not refunded.

Should the class chef be unavailable to conduct their cooking class due to personal reasons or illness, all attendees for that class will be notified at the time. The class may still go ahead, where applicable, with one of Homeland's team stepping in to take the lesson.
